This is definitely one of my favourites from the series! This is where things start to get personal for Alex which gives a whole different dimension to his character and character development. All great literary characters have their Achilles heel and I think Alex's is finding out about his Father.

This one was definitely more of a setting up the story book in the series. It was good and it was a pretty tense book, but there were parts that dragged a little bit and where the story wasn't super compelling. Some BIG reveals at the end of this one though!

fkakjdk perfection & a classic i still love it
Okay, so that was different from the previous Alex Rider books. Very different.
VERY, VERY different.
It was... deeper. A good number of characters were more rounded, felt more real than they ever have. I ACTUALLY GOT THE FEELS. I mean... OH MY GOSH, I ALMOST WANT TO SPOIL SOME THINGS BUT I CAN'T BUT I WON'T.
It was different, guys. The storyline, the motivations, the outcome. It was an Alex Rider book, all right - non-stop action and lots of twists and turns - but it broke out of the mold some of the previous books had been crafted in. It was GROUND-BREAKING. I mean, if Eagle Strike was a game-changer, then Scorpia is an EXTREME game-changer.
Some stuff involved in this book:
- BASE jumping
- a woman named Julia Rothman
- the prime minister
- running all over Venice
- Nile the black and white man
- a... uh... very savage school
- "Invisible Sword"
- a retainer
Quite frankly, I am shook. My heart is feeling things. O_O

really really loved this book to its maximum point! its got everything a book should have: great characters, action, mystery and ofcourse an intriguing plot!
i would suggest this to anyone who's too bored with their life (like me) and wanna escape their boring routine.

Definitely my favourite of the series so far. Non stop action, Alex finally has a friend and we learn some of intriguing information. Read it all in one day and loved the cliffhanger ending. Highly recommend this series for all ages."
