A hilarious introduction to the City Watch. Loved the weird and wonderful characters, especially Lady Ramkin and Carrot! And of course Errol 🐉💨

I also realised Pratchett’s humour reminds me so much of Monty Python!!

I just love the sense of humour. Highly entertaining, exciting, engaging. I would really like to continue reading this storyline now but there are so many books tbr... we'll see. Absolutely loved the characters. Having started with the Wizard line of the series, I missed Rincewind in the beginning, but the Librarian and all the new loveable characters won me over quickly. I'm so glad that I still have 30-something Discworld novels to look forward to!
