My first foray into the discworld series and every bit as good as people say. however, i might recommend it as an audiobook; its not long so much as dense, and there are no chapter divisions to provide easy, clean breaks.

I liked this one a lot, it might be one of if not my favorite. The four members of the city watch are such a fun group of characters. Captain Vimes, Nobby, Sergeant Colon, and Carrot are each individually interesting and great as a group. Lady Ramkin was also a great addition to the lore. Her and her dragons. I really like how obvious it is that Carrot is actually the rightful king returned, but he’s just so oblivious. Lord Vetinari really shines in this one as well. The way he talks and interacts with everything is so interesting. Pratchett really created such a wonderful world and I truly enjoy every time I enter it.
