This was such a fun intro to the Discworld! Every time I thought we were following one character, it would switch in the best way possible. The person you think is the Hero is just stereotypically heroic in everything but the end. The person you think is a side character, not super important, has the makings of the Hero that even they didn't know until the end. I love that characters are complex and unpredictable.

This is my first Terry Pratchett book ever, so I didn’t exactly know what I was getting into— but it’s safe to say that my insatiable greed for entertainment is satiated (temporarily at least.)

It’s a bunched up bundle of chaos slapped into a 300+ page book and I eat that shit up.
