The second best Discworld I've read! Just such a delightful set of characters in an amusing plot about trying and failing to restore the monarchy and dragons causing terror on the streets!
Carrot is just the goodest boy!
Really needed something this sweet and fun to read this week whilst feeling pretty awful!

Every Discworld book I read becomes my new favorite Discworld book. Guards! Guards! is no exception. And now, as the first City Watch book I've read in the series, it has elevated that subseries to my new favorite sub-series as well.

Can't recommend it highly enough.

The Watch were never my favourite series in the Discworld but this was better than I anticipated. The plot is just brilliant. I loved Lady Ramkin. So now I'm quite keen to return to the other Watch books as well.
