This is the third book in the Bromance Book Club series. Our main characters are side characters from the first two books, Alexis, Livโ€™s friend and cat cafe owner, and Noah, the expert hacker who helped the guys take down Royce Preston in Undercover Bromance.

While I enjoy this one well enough, it was definitely my least favorite of the series so far. There were plenty of cute moments between Alexis and Noah, we got to see the characters from the other books again, and there were plenty of funny moments (Iโ€™m looking at you, spa scene). However, there is a LOT of drama in this book, specifically family drama that both of our main characters had. It got to be a bit much at times and just made me uncomfortable.

All of that being said, this one was just okay for me. But I am still SO excited for the fourth book and learning all about the Russian and his wife!! And seeing all of the boys again, obviously.

TW: terminal illness, death of a parent, sexual assault/harassment, victim blaming/shaming

UGH i love this series so much and especially loved this book. Alexis and Noah are a nerdy, social justice warrior dream come true. Canโ€™t wait for the Russians book next!!!

This is my favorite book in the series so far. It was deep, emotional, and I could relate to the main character on a few aspects in this book.

I loved this as much as I loved ๐˜›๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ ๐˜‰๐˜ณ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฎ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ค๐˜ฆ ๐˜‰๐˜ฐ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฌ ๐˜Š๐˜ญ๐˜ถ๐˜ฃ (the first in the series), and I didnโ€™t think that was possible - I gobbled it up in one sitting! I sat down on my couch on a Sunday evening and did not get up until I had finished it which was definitely after 1 AM the next morning!

You meet Alexis & Noah in the second book, and Alexis especially is given a big storyline but not with a lot of background, so I was interested to see how her story developed. โฃ
โฃ
This is a friends-to-lovers trope and it was so well done! There was a lot of side plots with complicated storylines - a couple of them felt a little forced, but overall they all wove together pretty well, and the story always came back to Alexis & Noah. Also, Alexis has a beast of a cat and the scenes with it had me shaking with laughter! โฃ
โฃ
As with the first two in the series, I really appreciate how the author has the characters talk about romance novels and how the genre gets dismissed so easily by people who (typically) have never read one. It might me pandering a bit but I am here for it! โฃ

[Content Warning for sexual assault - not on the page, but a lot of discussion about it in general terms throughout the story.]โฃ

What a beautiful story. The journey of Noah and Alexis is heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. I canโ€™t say I can relate to Alexis, but I really hope that I have even a part of her strength and her compassion. Towards Elliott, towards Candi, towards everybody. She goes through her own struggles, but doesnโ€™t shy away from love and she helps Noah heal as well. The book club did it again!
