This was messy and raw and real.
Pretty much like life.
Nothing was perfect and it took many compromises but it rang and FELT true.

Oh these characters are messy and I love it they all have history together and view the past differently all wanting what is best for themselves. Lot of revaluation throughout the book makes for such a rich story.

This was a very beautiful second chance romance, I was invested in the relationship from the get go. Nora and Sophie navigate their feelings and queerness while having to factor in small town Bible belt opinions. What made this book so good was the amount of history that is packed not only in the main relationship but also the rest of the town and the people who live there.

This book was hard to read because the emotions are so complicated and the situation is fraught. I hated that there was no spice in this book - only longing or intimated moments, but no details. Feels like little payout for a book that emotionally wrecked me under the pretense of romance.

This is my new favourite book (ok maybe not but very close second). I don’t have words, I literally devoured this book, I just couldn’t put it down.
I’m not usually someone who easily cried when it comes to books but oh wow, this one definitely got me. This was simply beautiful.
Nora and Sophie, their relationship is.. I don’t have words.
I’ll have to re-read this to get it all in.
