- Had I known that this was a revised version of a previous novel, I would have read "Holy Innocents".

I picked this book up not knowing how sought after The Holy Innocents was, but I knew that I had to pick this book up in my lifetime.

The language of this book is gorgeous, and every little detail in this book was amazing. I had annotated the entire book, no page had been given the mercy of my highlighters.

My only issue was that had I known the taboo and dark topics this book had, I would have been more weary of it, and I probably should have touched on this once I'm older.
