This book brings an insider's view to Arvo Pärt and his creative universe. It is well divided in two sections. The first is a broad interview with the Italian composer Enzo Restagno, where Arvo (and Nora) sit around a table in the Italian Alps in 2003 and discuss Arvo's creative evolution chronologically with insights on their life story (early life, forceful migration, etc). The second part is an in depth musical explanation of Arvo's unique "tintinnabuli" framework for creating music. This was a little too in depth for my musical knowledge. Nevertheless, worth reading to get to know better one of the best composers of the twentieth century.
