Too long, did not like the main characters, other than that, the book was great!

Well, this is a top read for me this year for sure! Atmospheric with characters I did not like….at the beginning. And I love plot twists, especially when I don’t see them coming. The writing is beautiful and deep, and I’m definitely going to read more by this author.

This book was a wild ride! Every time I thought I knew what was going to happen, I was wrong. This is one of the first historical sapphic books I've read, and I loved it. The writing was so intentional, and that makes every part of the story so much better. Can't wait to read more by this author!

The first half was beyond 5-star and heading straight into my favorites list, but the second half could have been better. Still a pretty good book though.

Was this well-written and compelling? Yes. Am I utterly emotionally drained? Also yes. Did I have a good time? Unclear.

Excellent audio narration from Jaunita McMahon.
