I really enjoyed this one. It starts slow but then the twist 1/3 of the way through got me into it. Really great world building and setting, overall fun. A bit long but would pick up more Sarah Waters in the future.

I was originally really interested in the story but it was a bit of a slow read and lost interest in it and read the plot twist online and felt that was enough for me. After reading the plot, I felt like it got pretty out there and was put off.
