Dated, predictable, and a genuine waste of time considering everything else worth reading.

While not a timeless literary classic, Stinger is a white-knuckle thrill ride of fear and destruction. It's the kind of story that would make for a summer action blockbuster or cult classic if made into film.

I started reading it because I had just finished Teacup, the TV series based on this book, but I just got out of the mood for it as the holidays approached!

Three and a half stars. Solid 80's style horror thriller. E.T. meets Predator meets Tremors, lots of 80's cheese. A fun read!

Competent base under siege story that adheres to all the usual sci-fi/horror clichés and tropes.
