Night Watcher is not a book to listen to at night. The vibes were eerie, the dread was slow building and it definitely gave me some anxiety! It felt like true crime meets psychological thriller and I was fully into it!
It started strong and kept my attention. Nola made some wild choices and I definitely questioned her survival instincts more than once.
The full cast narration really elevated the audiobook. I highly recommend listening to the audiobook! This was a solid 4 star thriller!

DNF on July 27 2025 @ 50% because the pacing is too slow... Nothing actually happened that was thrilling. Couldn't tolerate these stupid characters anymore. Jack is the worst detective ever. Nola being frightened of her shadow got old pretty fast.
August 19 2025 - Finished this book. It got a little bit better in the second half but not by much. This whole story is disjointed. The plot as well as the actions of the characters didn't make sense to me.
