Fun story. I had a lot of fun reading this book and biting my teeth into it. I think the story was super exciting and fun, by mostly it was just generally fun.

It was an ok read. I had no clue who was the killer and what would happen next! Just when I thought I may have an idea of who did it, I was given a twist.
Yet, I didn’t really care about the FMC and her choices really annoyed me toward the end. Also the cheesy dialog during the last chapters? Meh.

This was pretty spooky, like gave me the chills numerous times! I definitely recommend waiting until the “Ber” months to pick this one up because it will fit right in with your Halloween reads (even if it happens in November). Now it didn’t reinvent the wheel, this is definitely your bread and butter serial killer thriller, but the writing was extremely engaging and our FMC, Nola, was resilient and easy to follow. If you have the opportunity to listen to the audiobook version, I highly recommend it, Helen Laser was phenomenal.
