I found it quite hard to get into this book as it took a while for the plot to get going and the start was pretty confusing, but once I was about halfway through I was deeply invested in all the characters and intruiged by their backgrounds and the storyline. Each character is really interesting and unique and my favourite part of the book was discovering some of their stories. This book is also very well written with sophisticated and effective use of writing techniques. Leigh Bardugo has a clear and interesting voice that is very enjoyable to read.

Okay, dang, where do I even start with Six of Crows? I LOVE THIS BOOK WITH ALL MY HEART. I first read Six of Crows back in late 2017, and I just loved it from the beginning until the end. The plot, the characters, the world, and just the writing style? Loved it.

I’ve never so strongly loved and admired fictional characters than I have with Kaz Brekker, Inej Ghafa, Nina Zenik, Jesper Fahey, and Wylan Van Eck. (let’s forget about Matthias Helvar, shall we?) In each of them, I found parts of myself that I had often pushed away or dismissed about myself. These characters are by no means perfect, but that is why I love them. They’re all incredibly flawed.

Epic fantasy heist novel with the most incredible cast of charaters that hold their stance all over the alignment chart. There's fun, there's banter and there is beautiful and dramatic inner monologues and snappy one-liners. You get to dive into most of the characters' inner lives and it's incredible how well they are seperated from each other, and how each character can have a different perception of each of the others in their group. Each dynamic is unique and is reflected in their views of each other.

Leigh Bardugo’s writing was just amazing. Her world building was incredibly detailed and she made all of the characters come to life in such a beautiful way. The characters were what made the book so amazing.

I started reading in the mornings and that helps me to read more so i finally finished it.
I liked the setting and the story so much more than the shadow and bone series, however reading the series back-to-back I'm starting to be tired of this world and kinda cannot wait to go back to some other worlds and stories. Luckily I only have one more book ahead of me.
