I wasn't keen on Fable so I didn't have any expectations with Namesake and I neither liked nor didn't like it. Nothing will beat Sky in the Deep and I knew that as I started this series. Some questions still weren't answered by the end and there wasn't any suspense that captured my attention and made me want to finish the book. Young is a fantastic writer which can be seen in her descriptions and world building, but I couldn't connect to the characters. The decisions they made never fit their actions and thought pattern, and with that missing connection I couldn't fully enjoy the story. Thank you Edelweiss for an ARC.
