Really liked this series. Wouldn't have picked it up on my own but I'm glad they made it to my hands. I liked all the twists and turns, very good story building and good characters.

So, I just finished Namesake and I've got to say, it was quite a ride! Let's dive into what I loved and what left me wanting more.

First off, the plot twists in this book were top-notch. Just when I thought I had things figured out, Adrienne threw in a curveball that kept me hooked. And can we talk about the budding romance between Fable and West? It was just the right amount of tension and sweetness.

One thing I wish we had more of was Koy and Willa. I loved their dynamic (the brief moments we got to see) in Namesake, and I was hoping to see more of their adventures. But hey, there's only so much you can fit into one book, right?

The developing father-daughter relationship between Fable and Saint was another highlight for me. Seeing Saint's softer side and how he genuinely cares for Fable added so much depth to his character. It's always heartwarming to see complex family dynamics play out.

Now, about the Holland situation... I'm still not sure how I feel about it. The way Saint managed to convince everyone against her in that meeting felt a bit too easy, you know? I wish there had been a bit more resistance or complexity there.

The world-building, though, was absolutely stellar. Getting to explore more of the Narrows and the Unnamed Sea was fantastic. Adrienne has such a knack for creating vivid, immersive settings that make you feel like you're right there with the characters. I just wish we had learned more about the "Salt Bloods" and some of the other intriguing elements she hinted at.

All in all, Namesake was a captivating read with plenty of twists, romance, and rich world-building. If you're into epic fantasy adventures with strong characters and intricate plots, this one is definitely worth a read!
