I would like to thank NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for an advance digital copy of this book. I am reviewing this book voluntarily. In the last chapter of Fable we were left with a cliffhanger. In Namesake we see how it all comes together. I'm giving this book a 4 out of 5 stars. I enjoyed seeing Fable and West romance progress. It did take a moment to get into it but its a good book overall. I recommend this book to anyone who likes action adventure with romance.

I adored this story and loved the ending of this duology! I definitely cried towards the end and will miss these characters so much! I’m so excited to read the spin off soon!

This book! I was so excited for the sequel to Fable. I think this book lived up to expectations, however... it was kind of slow in the beginning. I wouldn't say that it dragged, but it wasn't as captivating as the first one. I also think that the ending was a little rushed. there was so much build-up to the final scene and then the book ended right after it. I think I would have liked a little more resolution to the book. Overall I liked it, but I didn't LOVE it.

I absolutely LOVED Namesake. Young is such a descriptive and lyrical writer, so not only is reading this book appeing in technical terms, but there are so many beautiful resolutions to Fable's life story ❤

I will be the first to admit I could never make it as a Jevali, or in the Narrows, or even in Bastain for that matter BUT it's so easy to imagine myself among the Marigold's crew.

I have a feeling this story is going to stay with me ❤
adventurous emotional funny hopeful mysterious sad fast-paced

A good book. I like that it was more of a story focused around the bond between father and daughter than a YA romance plot

okay all i loved about fable still stands (writing, characters, pirates etc.)

but i felt myself questioning the characters and their decisions a bit here... so yea first is better but second is good too!
