Wow!! Such a fun and unique book! With the way the first book ended I was super curious how this second one would go and I’ll be honest I’m extremely happy with how this book turned out!
I loved how every character between the prequel and the first book showed up within this book and how everything tied together so nicely. I enjoyed the suspense in the plot and the curiosity of what is going to happen next that kept going throughout the book.
I also really enjoyed the character developments as well. You get to see Fable and West learn to lean on each other and work together, you get to see Saint and Clove’s story come full circle and you get to see the justice that started in the prequel finally take place at the end of this book and the satisfaction of it.
Overall I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend reading this series.

this started off so good and then entirely lost me when the Marigold was back. kinda unsatisfying ending, too. if they'd focused entirely on the family stuff and left out West entirely, I probably would have liked this series more in the end …? but who knows.
