I hate that I waited so long to read this. I was barely able to put it down. It made me cry so many times and the end absolutely warmed my heart. So many of the characters made me so angry that I had to vent but the end made up for it.
Absolutely the best description of generational trauma and was so good about explaining that our relationships aren't black and white. Just because you love someone doesn't make them perfect. Trying your best doesn't mean you don't hurt anyone. Being better doesn't mean being good enough.
