Interesting read. A little predictable, but well written.
Not what I expected from a Stephen King novel.

It was a lighter King, to be sure. A young boy discovers that he can see dead people. It's not gory, or too supernatural. Good read, but not the King I normally love.

In this book, we watch what happens to James (a young boy), who has the power to "see dead people" a la The Sixth Sense. He can interact with them, and ask them questions, which can be good (where did a loved one leave those earrings?), or bad (when he interacts with bad guys).
There are three of times when the... skill(?) is used to bad ends, and we watch what happens as a consequence. There are times when horror is a consequence (in dealing with a bad guy), which some might dislike, but as a rule, it's your standard crime book, it's just James is being used as a crime fighting tool, rather than forensics, or interviewing suspects.
It's a decent read, not Nobel Prize standard, but diverting for a few hours, if you like crime stories.

REALLY great book. Short and sweet and creepy as hell. More of a crime novel with supernatural but 100% good

Such a great story. Very creepy and creative. The ending was a bit weird but overall a great story.

Good, quick read by Stephen King. You can’t really go wrong with him.
