Super cute and sweet romance book. Both Veronica and Milo were amazing. They both had their issues, but they both worked them out. Though, it was really weird how things with Callie resolved after she walked into the flower/bike shop. It's like her coming in, dropping a bomb, and then walking away never happened. There wasn't anything that came about it, which is frustrating when it should have been resolved. I love this book! I definitely want to get into the rest of the series!

I dub today National Fall in Love with a Cute, Sexy Rom-Com Day!

The Virgin Next Door was just what I needed. An easy to read, low angst, workplace romantic comedy with a touch of boss/employee forbiddenness and a good amount of steam. I devoured this book in one sitting. I just could not get enough of Veronica and Milo’s chemistry. Between their playful banter and all the “list conquering” these two were undoubtedly perfect for each other.

Milo is all kinds of swoony. I’m pretty sure I fell for him right off the bat. Besides being a dreamy, dog loving, business owner who is good with his hands, Lauren Blakely throws in that he’s a bit of a nerd too. Gah! Be still my beating heart. That’s one of my weaknesses. I live for nerdy heroes.

Of course Veronica also shines. Surprise surprise, another Blakely heroine I've developed a girl crush on. I adored her. She’s smart. She’s witty, She’s always looking out for women and their pleasures. *claps* We love a sex positive women. I liked that we got to see her really find her niche. Find out what she was meant to do.

Lauren Blakely’s books always put a smile on my face. The Virgin Next Door did just that. If you’re in the mood for a charming, sexy rom com with tons of chemistry, compatible characters, great dialogue and a troublemaking cat, you need this book asap.

A fun and steamy romance set in NYC between two strangers turned co-workers, one of whom is the subject of an online fantasy blog. I loved the banter, the original plot, the cute rescue pets and the fact that the MCs work together at a flower shop/bike shop. Great on audio and definitely one I'd recommend!

The Virgin Next Door is the first book in this series of stand-alone, contemporary, boss/ employee, secret identity-ish romance. As expected from the author, this book is fun, light, sexy and low angst. The characters are witty, funny and freaking hilarious most of the time. There was never a dull moment for this couple. This will make you feel like you're watching a rom-com movie. The only thing missing is a bucket of popcorn and soda (I should have done it before diving in to this book!) and you're good to go. This book is perfect for that relaxing weekend read and a palate cleanser for dark romance lover like me.

Just meh.

I honestly didn’t expect to love this book as much as I did! In the beginning, I was skeptical because both of the characters had this quirkiness to them with the nicknames, but after only a few chapters, I fell in love with both of them!

This is the love story of Milo and Veronica and their personal growth within themselves. This was very low angst and had great side characters (which I can’t wait to read this stories).

Lauren Blakely has become a one click author for me!
