4/5 stars.
This was such a fun and easy in between book, I really needed it at the moment. Lauren Blakely is an author that's really dependable on writing good books and this was no different. I really liked the story, the writing style and the humor in the book, it was easy-to-read and a quick and fun book. Liked it!

nope I can't, the last 2 chapters were so cringe worthy. the narrative is trying too hard to be trendy and hit alllll the right spots, too much.

Milo and Veronica made such a great pairing! I read this book so quickly because I just couldn’t put it down! Veronica is a sassy heroine who is confident in herself and her sexuality, including as a virgin. Milo is sweet and thoughtful but sexy and caring just as I’d hope the MMC for Veronica would be. I love the link to characters from other Lauren blakely novels. I always love a character universe overlap! These two have quirky meet cutes and nicely introduced forced proximity that left me curious for the next twist in their story. Sweet and spicy!
Defied Expectations
I hesitated to read this, because with a title like The Virgin Next Door I thought it was going to be cheesy and meh.
Instead I got witty humor, nerds in love, and a delightful story that kept a smile on my face the whole time.
Women finding their sexual appetite is how these things usually go, but Veronica already has hers all figured out. She just hasn't met the person who can be the partner she needs. And that, I think, was the most refreshing part of this book. Milo wasn't put in place to help her discover her needs, she already knew what they were. She already had a healthy attitude towards sex, and wasn't afraid to explore her desires fully when Milo came into her life.
The rest of their story is fun and sweet and adorable and they end up being the kind of couple I wish I could know in real life so I could swoon over them in person.

This was such a fun, sweet and sizzling romance! Veronica has sexy fantasies about her sexy neighbor, Milo. She writes about him in her column about being a virgin, calling him Mr. Sexy Pants (MSP) which causes her to lose her job. When she finds a new temporary job, she discovers her new boss is her neighbor, MSP! Veronica and Milo have instant fiery chemistry. Veronica may be a virgin physically, but her dreams and desires are anything but innocent. She and Milo have fun working and flirting and soon they can't help but act on all their desires. These two friends have found the adventurous lover they have always yearned for, to exploring the boundaries of all their fantasies. Milo has always been upfront with Veronica. He doesn't trust his choices after a disastrous relationship that still haunts him. But when he faces the realization that Veronica is nothing like his ex., and he is losing her, will he be able to convince her that he is the forever man of her dreams? I loved Milo and Veronica so much! I love how confident, caring, and smart they are, and how they supported each other. I loved their fun banter, and the deliciously dirty talk between them. This new Dating Games series is starting off with a bang, well multiple actually. There is Blakely's signature witty banter, and great characters with explosive chemistry, and lots of steamy passion that I can't get enough of. I loved this swoony, passionate, hot and steamy romance!
I loved Teddy Hamilton, and Vanessa Edwin's narration. Their comedic timing was perfect, and their ability to deliver Ms. Blakely's witty dialogue along with imparting the genuine emotion of all characters was exquisite. This is a fun, witty, sexy story that is so full of heart and a great start to this news series!
