Barely anything in this book felt interesting to me. I didn't like any of the characters and their motivations, the plot was also easy to guess. The style of writing and the short chapters did make for an easy read.

This is probably my favourite Matt Haig book I’ve read because I found I didn’t guess the plot and I found it quite refreshing and genuinely amusing without trying too hard.

I read this for book club and while it was fun to read there were parts of the experience that might have affected it only being a 3 star read for me.  I am a mood reader and this is a fall book - not January.  It's campy and sometimes that misses for me but I think this would have been great if I had been in a campy mood.  I would recommend it widely and would love to hear people who love it talk about it because I think that my timing was what was off in the reading of this one.
