This book is a cute Christmas story setup. I liked Sarah (daughter) a lot and she was definitely the highlight for me. In general, though, the ending is super super fast. I like a good HEA but this wraps up way too quickly. Stars awarded for the fun kid, the way both mom and male interest take care of her, and the thematic set up.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Rescuing You For Christmas

This was a sweet little Christmas romance. At 152 pages, it's a quick read. Perfect for curling up with on a cold day.

Rescuing You For Christmas had the familiar Hallmark movie formula, two people meet, there is an attraction, but something gets in the way, but in the end, they realize they are meant to be together.

Paige and her daughter are traveling to a cozy small-town cabin for Christmas. Paige is planning the perfect magical Christmas for her five year old daughter. Traveling during a storm, Paige ends up in a snowbank. A handsome stranger, Matt, stops and helps them, taking them to their cabin. But the cabin ends up being dilapidated with no power. Since it's a small town at Christmas, there is no other accommodation for them. So, Matt offers for them to stay with him until Paige's car is fixed.

Matt's cabin is small and cozy, and they can't help but be close to each other. And with this forced proximity, they are finding themselves attracted to each other. But, she's from the city, and he's small town through and through. They are attracted to each other, but both don't think the other wants the same thing.
