Truly loved this such a good mystery if you’re looking for one and gave so much background on all the characters in such a short span of time. Shit really got crazy at the end I don’t think I’ll be able to stop thinking about it. Only gave it three stars because I like to get emotionally attached to books (will unpack that another day) and I don’t think that’s possible with a mystery but I still loved it
Like a Russian nesting doll this book was full of surprises. It’s a great thriller, a bit haunting at first, but once a path is carved, the plot kept a steady pace. While it ended with an unexpected conclusion, it left too many unanswered questions.

This was a quick read, and I enjoyed it. Definitely a stretch that all of the characters have such a connected past. I pretty much read the whole thing in one sitting while on the plane.

3.5 stars would be appropriate here. I enjoyed the format the book was written in - going back and forth between characters and at different times in the 48 hour time period. There was a feeling of "who did it" until the very end. Some of the characters seemed a bit flat, but overall the main characters were well developed.
