A psychological thriller about a woman's experience being trapped in her home and how it impacts her life and what she see's in the outside world.
What I liked about the book:
- The suspense
- The blurring of real experiences and her psychological condition
- The uncertainty of what's real and what's not
- Anna's profession and how she cannot 'fix' herself
- Ending was not what I expected
What I didn't like:
- Almost too scary for me!

I think this book could easily be reduced to a half. There were some chapters that, according to me, were absolutely unnecessary. Like what was the point? What was their relevance to the plot? Talking about the plot, it was boring, unsurprising, not at all shocking, just totally average. This book is too over-hyped. I am actually surprised I was able to finish it because it wasn't entertaining at all. I'm just disappointed.

Conversation between Anne Marie Lee and AJ Finn at the end of the audiobook was a nice surprise.

2-2.5 stars!
The story was okat but I felt it was nothing new, the plot was very predictable, The thing with her family was quite obvious and I kinda knew what will happen earlier that I expected (who did it and not who's the woman in the window), I feel like I've seen this kind of story in lots of films before and books too .. reminds me of The Girl On The Train..
What really bothers me the most was the writing style .. did not like it at all especially in the first chapters, omg so boring and I had no idea was going on , spent 40 chapters or more on basically drinking and playing chess and when it came to the end gave us only three or four chapters that wasn't enough..

Very gripping indeed.
Pulpy page turner but I had the feeling from about halfway through that I had already read this one. Because it is just like Woman in Cabin 10 and all of the film noir movies that are referenced throughout. Definitely predictable twists.
