It took some time to get used to the story. I had vastly different expectations and things I wanted from the story. Once I took time away to adjust myself, I started to thoroughly enjoy the story. I loved the Staryk king and the budding romance throughout the story and loved how the romance wasn't the main focus of the story. The atmosphere was phenomenal as well.
