Pues los primeros 20 capítulos genial, pero luego el ritmo y la trama sufren una bajona que me costó superar. Tampoco ayuda que, a partir de la mitad de la historia, aparecen nuevos POV que no aportan nada al libro. Tengo ganas de leer más de Novik, eso sí, pero me apena que no haya cumplido con las expectativas que crea al inicio de la lectura.

Two books in a row I loved?  What is even happening??

I loved the different women solving relationship problems in different ways.  The Eastern European setting was interesting (and cold!  Even though I read it in August!), and the whole moneylender thing was new to me.  I am not usually into fantasy with elves, but I really did like this.  Kept me up too late for sure.
