I definitely enjoyed this one much more than the first, especially now that her dynamic with North is looking better and they aren’t all calling her a whore anymore… well except Nox. The cliffhanger was so expected but the plot twist at the end!!!! Omgggg totally wasn’t expecting that.

Finishing a book in a series that ends on a cliffhanger feels magical when the next book is already available.

The first book in the series was pretty slow, and I only started the second because of the small cliffhanger at the end of Book 1. I was a little concerned that if the second book didn’t give me SOME answers to the ongoing questions in Book 1 that I would lose interest, BUT I was pleasantly surprised. Things really started to pick up towards the end and I’m getting pretty invested
