I listened to the Audible dramatized version of this story. The narration and sound effects were deliciously eerie!

I had a very spooky time reading it, and it was an interesting level of spookyness. It was much more grounded and referenced the real world of Dickens' era. The ending although I tried to guess it, I was incorrect time and time again!
My only problem was that aside from 2 to 3 scenes, it didn't have anything else to offer other than the silent atmophere. Do recomment tho, it's a great choice and fast read for halloween season!!!
