The good: I love a revenge story, and the premise was definitely calling to me. The FMC’s scent match cheated on her, and in her quest for revenge she comes across three alphas in a motorcycle club who want to spoil her.
The not-so-good: Talia’s revenge was so convoluted! I started skimming halfway through, and I’ll pick up the next book to get to the conclusion, but right now I’m thinking this story could have been tighter. I might be in a reading slump though, so YMMV.

Need the next book STAT. This FMC is a little naive, and that leads her to make the worst decisions possible every step of the way (even though I was rooting for her with the the revenge cheating). I was equal parts annoyed with her, and also understanding of her, because she really thought she was making the best choices each time. Her naivety became her downfall. Not really impressed with the MMCs, but those cliffhangers were too big not to start the next book now.

I really wanted to like this book. The storyline had promise however all she had to do was open her mouth and tell her parents. That’s is who cares what happens to this cheating man. Now she has an even bigger problem! As soon as she realized he wasn’t gonna come and reject her she should have told her parents cause this was suspicious as hell. Now look what’s happening….. this book just frustrated the heck out of me. Open your darn mouth and you the resources you have. 🙄
I knew the cliff hanger was coming and I was still on the edge of my seat.
Before I start, can I just say that I absolutely adore Olivia’s books? Like, she just nails it every single time! It’s actually crazy!
Anyway, this one was also a bop. I like how unique the concept was! Although some parts made me want to throw my phone across the room as I was reading them, there’s no doubt that a revenge on the cheater trope hasn’t been done in omegaverse, to my knowledge! And this was really well-executed too!
I understood the FMC’s motivations throughout the book, although I can’t say I personally agree with all of her choices. I think by the end of the duology, I will be feeling satisfyingly vindicated, so I will just sit tight and wait for that one character to suffer as much as he deserves.
As always, I loved the love interests, and I can’t wait to get to know them better in Part 2!
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

The heroine of this book drove me nuts. She’s a mafia princess who’s fully aware of what life is like in an organized crime family, but she doesn’t protect herself even remotely adequately. She meets her heroes by ridiculously risky behavior over her terrible fiancé, but she doesn’t stop long enough to think about why he’s so different in his treatment of her than any other alpha.
The heroes are adequate, but they’re consistently overwhelmed by the heroine’s bad choices, including using them for revenge and ignoring the protection her family would offer. Is it fun to watch her connect with her heroes? Absolutely, and that’s what gave this book its stars from me. But it lost stars with the heroine basically being incredibly blind to the dangers inherent in her choices, particularly related to that fiancé.
I appreciate that Lewin labeled this Part One, so that readers know going in to expect a cliffhanger. And it’s a fascinating twist—enough to make me want to find out what will happen to address it in part two!
