I don't even know where to start...the TW's should definitely be a HUGE consideration if you're looking to read/listen to this one!
Never mind morally grey, there are some completely blacked out parts to this that are just wrong, such asrape and sexual assault , & not counting all the references to peodophiles and harm to children .....BUT.....if you know what you're getting into and take this based on the story alone (which I did), then it's not a bad book at all!
It's not the best book I've read but it's certainly kept me interested and I'm wanting to now read to 2nd book for find out where it's going with the sequel!

Very disturbing, but equally enthralling. Sucks you in immediately and makes it difficult to put it down or stop listening. I listened via Audible and the narrators did a good job as well.

you definitely need to check the cw's before reading
it was good it's the first dark romance book I've read and I was just sucked in to the world and read it faster than I've read any book before (keyword here is book. I would definitely not recommend this to someone who has barely any knowledge of dark romance. so if you know what you’re getting into and you’re not new to dark romance this is a great read)
I’ve seen a lot of people hate on it for the sa in it and it’s there and obviously no one should be praised for doing such a thing(which zade in no way is) but I don’t see it being romanticized in any way in this book and it is in the warning that there is sub/non-con. (Obviously some readers might praise him or glorify it but that has nothing to do with the content of the book whatsoever)

Almost dnf'ed this because the start and writing was just off.
Would have done it also had i not bought it with my 1 a month credit.
But as the stor progressed i became annoingly invested and now i am contemplating listening to the second.
The mmc audio is fan-fucking-tastic and was what made me continue listening.
