This book was dark and twisted in a way that few books reach for. It hooked me with the elements of what Zade did for a living and the enjoyment of seeing him make people pay for those types of crimes. I had a hard time reconciling his obsession and stalking of Addy with what he did for a living…but overall I enjoyed this book…I loved watching the past and present bleed together as her search for answers about her grandmother unfolded. Now I think I need a month before I can take on that sequel.

I don't even know where to start with this review. Make sure you check the trigger warnings as this book is not for everyone and not suitable for anyone under the age of 18.
This book had me at the edge of my seat from the very first page to the end. Adeline is an author who moved into her deceased grandmother's haunted estate. When Zade lays eyes on her at a book signing that was it for him, she was who he wanted and he stopped at nothing to get her.
This is one of my favorite books so far and is something I would love to be able to read over and over and not know what was going to happen. I give this ten out of 5 stars. Everything about it was written so perfectly
