Reread 2/7/20- still 4 stars, but I had forgotten how much I loved Laynie, and how relatable and wonderful and real she is. It’s Hudson I’m still iffy on, but if that changes, this can easily become a five star series!

12/7/17-4 Stars!

I toyed with a 4.5 but since this wasn't even my favorite Laurelin Paige, I couldn't do it. That's not to say it wasn't very good- it was actually excellent. The heroine was one of my favorites that I have ever read, mostly because she wasn't perfect. I liked the hero fine, but he didn't quite have the amount of brooding I find necessary. If I'm being honest, I much preferred Donovan Kincaid from Dirty Filthy Rich Men :)
Regardless, the story was excellent and the characters good. I've always appreciated the author's ability to create multi-faceted female characters and this book was no different.
I'm not rushing to read the sequel right now but I definitely will.
To sum it up: I would definitely recommend!

Yummy....

That's about the best word that comes to mind after I read this book. I have to admit, I jumped right to the second book before I reviewed this one, but I'm going to try and not let the information I know from the second, change my opinion of this one.

Hudson. Sweet baby jesus. I have to be honest, I really did not like him at first. He felt like the same over baring, rich, dominating hot guy that is in almost every erotic novel these days, but his whole back ground story actually changed things up a bit. Who am I kidding?! He's freaking sexy as hell even if he's a psycho. Which was the kicker for this story.

Que hot, fucked up male who can't love and beautiful, damsel in distress who loves way too much. That brings "opposites attract" to a whole new level!

These two drove me crazy. Both amazing crazy, and wanna rip my hair out crazy, but something about them kept me wanting more.

I'm very happy I came across this trilogy. It's sexy, dramatic and like I said at the very beginning....yummy :)

I really fckin enjoyed this.

Laynie has an obsessive/addictive personality when it comes to relationships and actually, this made her so endearing as a character. She falls hard and fast but in no way is naive, she just craves affection. The instant she meets Hudson, the attraction is fierce and sizzling. Hudson is what Christian Grey wishes he was lmao (no shade to my no 1 alpha-caveman tho). He also has a dark past himself, which is why the two of them suit each other perfectly!

The chemistry, banter, and sex were off the charts hot, I'm so excited to see how the rest of the series progresses especially with that ending. As for the side characters, I love Hudson's sister Mira and Celia is obvi going to be a villainous bitch.

If you like a story with insta-lust, an alpha hero, a heroine with a penchant for stalking and a fast moving plot, this book is perfect for you! Also recommended if you enjoyed: 50 Shades, Bared to you and beautiful disaster.
