Having only read Nikki Castle’s novella and LOVING that, I don’t know what took me so long to read 5 Rounds, but I’m glad I finally did! AMAZING… I loved it so much, Gideon Frost and Brooke Daniel’s blew me away with the Duet Narration of this audiobook too. Cannot wait for 2 Fights to be released in audio and performed by Emma Wilder and JF Harding. I ate this up and highly recommend, if you haven’t read a book by Nikki Castle yet, do it 🙌🏻♾️🫶🏻 Nikki Castle is a must read/buy author for me now… LOVE LOVE LOVE

Remy and Tristan have always hated each other’s guts, no doubt about that. But when Remy is evicted from her apartment, and is forced to move into her best friend’s apartment for the next ten days, that involves living with Tristan. Now, they’re dancing around each other, and one fateful night, the sexual tension just explodes. Now they’re both dealing with emotions they didn’t want and don’t understand, and they have to decide if fighting for each other is worth all the risks.

Okay, first of all, kudos to Castle for this beautifully written, highly hilarious banter between Tristan and Remy. I will never get over well suited they are for each other, even if they themselves didn’t want to admit it. Remy is strong and confident, and she doesn’t put up with Tristan’s ribbing. Tristan loves getting a rise out of Remy, but he’s also fiercely caring and protective of her. Together, they are incredibly passionate, and their chemistry is extremely explosive. I really, truly loved this book. 5 steamy stars!!!

Very late to the game here but I’m glad I finally got around to starting this series! This book was definitely a promising start

I loved Remi so much, she was a really strong character and her chemistry with Tristan was off the charts!

I will admit I got a bit frustrated with the communication/conflict in the story. I certainly understand the impulse to cut and run when you feel you’ve put yourself out there and the other person doesn’t reciprocate, but a conversation would have really helped avoid a lot of the conflict here.

But I loved the focus on MMA and am definitely looking forward to the rest of the series. I’m hoping the rest will also be released on audio (also the audiobook was great! Duet narration and definitely worth a listen)

The Fight Game

Hero:
Protective, possessive, redeems his manwh*re ways, and manages to be very dreamy.

Tough as hell, sassy, gives as much shit as she gets, and true to herself.
