Not bad for 22 pages. The maid/bachelor dynamic kind of squigged me out, though.

loved this quick sweet story about a unsure insecure guy falling in love with his young housekeeper. would have liked this as novel but still great for between books.

Really really short, but has definitely wet my appetite for more of Erin and Blake's story. Very happy Warren announced follow-up stories about these two!

This a novella length book to get you started on this series, Erin is a girl who is paying her way through college by cleaning houses one of which is the reclusive Blake who she finds insanely attractive.
Blake was injured during his time in the military and has scars on his face that make him uncomfortable around people but those are only the ones that show, He has Erin come to clean house because he likes having her there not so much because he needs a housekeeper.

This is a short, sexy read with a May/November romance and some smokin' hot scenes, Know that when you finish this you will want to have the second book BENEATH THE BEAUTY handy because you will want more.

Well that escalated quickly. This story had a sweet idea but was just too short to portray the feelings involved. I liked how Erin didn't stand for him putting himself down or let any misunderstandings fester. If this is the type of story you enjoy and you just want a short read I would reccomend this book. If you want a very similar story but longer I'd reccomend Beauty and the Billionaire by Jessica Clare.

I enjoyed this as a short story. I wish it could've been longer and more in depth. Skye is an great erotic author.

This is a short novella., approx 22 pages on my Nook Color. There was a back story that was discussed which made the shortness of the book okay. You were able to get the feel that the two main characters were dancing around their attraction for awhile and then, finally, gave in. The initial scene was hot and overall the book was well written, and I will be reading more from this author.

*I was not in any way compensated for, or even asked, to review this book. All opinions are my own*

Short story, not overly sweet, not overly erotic, good enough moments inside each character, the "missunderstanding" thrope was well used and didn't make us cringe, both characters were intelligent and nice and cool. Really lovely read.

Short and sweet, but was it really worth it when nothing happens?
