This is a reread. Honestly it's one of my least favourite of the series because the events are a bit longwinded to solve the mystery. Loved the twist with Percy though.

Love the language and the pacing and the general idea of Harry Potter, hate some of the messages the books send, like the fatphobia, lack of representation; and the fact that Harry is never questioned or criticised and is painted as this character without any flaws, he does break rules, but *wow he's so rebellious*.

Joanne being transphobic still taints this book for me, however I must say I enjoyed it even more than the first one, I really love the characterization and the magic in every chapter. Something new to discover every way, I will continue with the saga.
