Overall, I like the story and the art, but both were just confusing enough to have soured my reading experience.

A solid story, and cool artwork. I think I liked the framing of the story best - that stories are important.

At times this reads like it could be a horror story, something like a DC Comics version of ALIEN or EVENT HORIZON. Unfortunately, the extremely limited-series nature of the Black Label imprint means it doesn't have time to explore the slow descent, or dive too deep into the individual crew members. What we're left with is still a tense, gorgeous superhero story, even if it's one that never quite lives up to its own potential.

Ram V is a talented writer, he knows how to execute new stories with familiar characters. Didn't expect a cosmic horror Aquaman story like this but he did it.

Christian Ward's artwork works well for this story. The way his style blends scenery and characters is cool. The design of Aquaman here looks great too.

This story must be inspired by Michael Crichton's Sphere (along with some other sea stories) as that's what I felt while reading it.

I recommend everyone give this a chance!
