I love a thriller / murder mystery but it's so rare to find one whose writing style I actually enjoy, but I loved the way this book was written! I'm always a big fan of a very purposeful shift in narrator, and I loved how getting in different characters' heads showed a new angle on the situation. I think maybe this would be a five star if each voice were just a bit more distinct in style, but that's really my only critique of the writing style! I thought this was beautifully written, and I absolutely ate it up. A lot of ambitious style choices were made and generally I thought they really paid off. Fast-paced, engaging, with an interesting plot and style. would recommend!!

Ending the story inside the dad's head as he has dementia... genius. As soon as she pulled out that jewelry box I was screaming !!
