I want to write a review before I forget.
Overall this still read as very YA due to the flashbacks to the childhood game of the 11 year olds, I don't think there needed to be as much of this, it could have been done quicker with more time for the current timeline.
Liv, Cass, and Naomi have managed to stay friends after the tragedy that took place when they were 11. They don't seem to really all like each other, and in the flashbacks I felt the same way, it was Liv and Namoi with Cass just kind of being there.
Our author gave us many twists, some were predictable, others not until the end, overall I figured out all but one of the twists very early on.
Solid book for her first take outside of the YA genre and I'd give her another chance. I also really enjoyed the narration in the audio book, it may have kept me interested longer than it would have if I had been reading it.

Oh. My. God. This was so good I read it in one night. I thought I had the twist figured out but nooope even the twist had twists. I just hate that it had to end.

If a book is going to be predictable, at least make the journey enjoyable. Glad I saved myself the time by reading the spoilers because this book was not it.
