I really enjoyed Azriels chapter, loved having an insight into his side of things and seeing him with Elain and Gywn. Interested to see where these go and i hope and pray we have a book from his POV.

THIS was the bonus chapter! In my review of ACOSF, I shared that I’m an Elain x Lucien and Azriel x Gwyn shipper. THIS CHAPTER CHANGED MY MIND. I adore Lucien and desperately want him to find happiness, but this chapter made it clear that Elain wants Azriel just as much as he wants her. THOSE TWO BELONG TOGETHER.

I wasn’t crazy about (A) the ending or (B) Rhys’s overprotectiveness, but, that aside, this was such a cute and romantic bonus chapter!

I honestly hate myself to say that I enjoyed this book more in the entire series.

The character development? Great. The story? Overall good. The SPICINESS?! Phenomenal.

I can also appreciate how dommy mommy Nesta was towards Cassian. The need for them both to compete with each other (sexually obviously)

I'm intrigued where Elain where go from this. And you know what, I hope she doesn't end up with Azriel. It's too cliche, and I'd like to see her in her own skin with no one for a bit.

also it must be sooo nice to be revived from the dead over and over again.

Give me Az's book NOW, Maas, because this was a frustratingly short tease!  I liked being inside his tortured head even if it was only for a bit and hope that he finds happiness later in the series.

I am not crazy about the fact that his interest in Elain seems primarily superficial; he has much more in common with Gwyn and seems to respect her more as an individual.  Although I'm glad that the necklace will find a home, I don't love the twist of it being a regift, which would hurt both parties if they found out.  I understand Rhys' concern about the Blood Duel, but he could at least acknowledge that Az is moving on after fruitlessly pining over Mor for 500 YEARS!
