I've really wanted an Azriel POV so I was excited to read this.

Wow was I suprised and not in a good way. I dont like the way Azriel talked about Elain. He likes her for what she represents and not who she is. Like he is owed something good.  It made me worried that if these two get together, and that dialogue isnt changed, that it will feel very icky to me. Red flags everywhere. The man needs a lot of healing and hopefully we get that for him in the coming books.

The ending was sweet and its rare for us to see Azriel relaxed and happy. I'm excited for where THAT will lead 😏

I don't like how he ended it. If Elaine notices it'll upset her. If gwyn finds out she'll be upset. It was a bit cheap
