This story could have been sooooo good. 
Spoilers!
I expect a lot of scientific stuff in his books but this one was so overburdened that I actually glazed over most of it. It was...extreme.
The story was really interesting and could have been so crazy good...but after a huge, tense conclusion, the story just...ended lol. Almost like it was all for nothing. 
I see there's a sequel so maybe it gets resolved but I really don't have the energy to plow through another one.
