The idea that even bad guys deserve their HEA is something I always enjoy so this anthology hit the spot. Hell Bites by A. K. Graves and Quell T. Fox is an introduction into what will become a full length story (Thank God) and I loved it. As a lover of podcasts, and word podcasts specifically (Hello, Lexitecture), this one was a favorite. There's a lot of humor in it that I wasn't expecting due to the trigger warnings and some spice as well. The characters are a demon and a vamp, and so much fun. I can't wait to get my hands on the rest of their story.

Hell Bites by A.K. Graves and Quell T. Fox
Dang, this was an amazing story! Demon hears hot guy on a podcast by accident. Demon comes obsessed and starts writing emails to said 'hot guy'. This one has it all, danger, kidnapping, some smokey scenes, and much more. The human is great, we all want to know our vampire friend is vegan, right?
I couldn't stop reading this one and it just kept getting better! Hell Bites will be coming as an expanded book, so the cliffhanger will only last so long, right???? MUST know what happens, but I feel HEA, tho don't quote me... Happy reading!!

BOOK: My Perfect Villain (Specifically Hell Bites)
AUTHOR: Quell T. Fox
PLOT: Azizia is a demon from Hell sent to Earth for her own protection. One night, after killing the resident of the house she resides in, she stumbles upon a podcast dedicated to words. The meaning of words, the origin of words, how to pronounce words, yea, it's pretty much a nerdy podcast for logophiles. The host is a nerdy vampire by the name of Felix. Azizia immediately is attracted to Felix's voice, and she sends him dirty emails with dirty words to say on his failing podcast. Soon, Felix starts a segment on his show dedicated to dirty words and his ratings go up. Azizia isn't content just listening to Felix talk, and she's not content with just hearing him say dirty words to his audience. She wants to be with him and she wants to hear him say dirty words to her alone. So, she stalks Felix and tracks him down at his studio one night, and what ensues is a release of pent-up passion between the two of them and things get hot, real quick! This novella was my favorite in this anthology! Felix is my new Vampire daddy. I love a hot, nerdy, vampire that's also a logophile! The romance that ensues is great and the spice was just brilliant! I can't wait to read more from Quell!

I read Sacrifice by S.J. Ransom. It is a quick, spicy Beauty and the Beast retelling. I loved this story so much that I wished it was longer as I was not ready for it to end. Vincent may be called "The Beast" but it ends up that this beast does have a heart where Aribella is concerned.
I love that Aribella was able to still maintain her fierce attitude with Vincent. In fact, it just made Vincent want her even more. While this is a quick read, don't worry as Vincent and Aribella do get a HEA.

Felix is the host of a podcast called Nerd Word. He's protective of Roger... his cat, and I found it rather cute and super relatable that he conversed with Roger, even though he didn't respond. He seems pretty "human."
Azizia and Felix have a hilarious "meeting" through emails and an intriguing relationship.

Before reading this anthology, I had not read anything by any of these authors, so it was fun to see each person's writing style.
I absolutely loved each of these stories and would love to read them as full-length books. The different types/species and races of characters were astounding to me, and I enjoyed the diversity.
Do yourself a favor and get this book!
