I don't understand what the many, many references to diet talk / weight loss / "keeping off the weight" talk brought to the book and why it was at all necessary. Take it out of the book, and you have the exact same book without fatphobia.
The book was quite fun to read, other than above, and I will probably continue the series if I remember to LOL (we all know how it is, am I right?) I found some of the twists quite predictable, and I found the main character quite annoying in her resolve and stubbornness but I did like her regardless. I could understand her devotion to proving her name, of course, although I don't think she was as big of a suspect as she thought she was (if she was supposed to, I think the author could have done a better job at that).
