My Thoughts

Englishwoman In Paris was an extremely fun, sometimes serious, fast paced read. From start to finish I never put the book down.

There is just something about reading books that take place in a different place, especially across “the pond”, that I adore. The language, the culture, the romance.. it all just seems so rich compared to American interactions. Seriously people, our “slang” leaves a lot to be desired..

I will warn you that Pascal and Sarah’s relationship is the definition of insta-love and normally I would not be a fan, but since the book was so short, and lovely, I overlooked it. It also helped that the story didn’t dive too deep into any issues, keeping the reader focused on how Pascal and Sarah would overcome their worldly differences.

I definitely recommend this for anyone with a long afternoon and time to fill. It’s a light, clean, romance that will leave you feeling complete.
