Yikes. This book was a mess.

Josie was an extremely irritating narrator. Nothing was ever her fault, everyone who wronged her (for no reason) always realized how wrong they were and apologized profusely, and everyone who didn't wrong her was under the impression that she was some sort of genius (again, for no reason). Everything was way too convenient, everything came so easily to Josie, and her internship and job were some of the most unrealistic shit I have ever seen.

Cute and fun and basically exactly what I felt like reading. I'm a sucker for things about unfashionable people being thrown unceremoniously into the fashion world

I was worried this was going to be a similar story as "Devil wears Prada". I was surprised at Josie's age and her story as I found that she could have been developed more and made older than 18. The plot would make more sense to me then- it seemed to be not as believable for me. I did enjoy the friends met along the way of the internship and wonder what's going to happen in the sequel

Very likeable, good level for younger teens and enough interest for mid teens. Not too neatly wrapped up but satisfying.

Cute and hilarious!! It has a Confessions of a Shopaholic vibe without the super annoying protagonist.

I loved this book! Josie was a total klutz and reminded me of myself, and she tried so hard to be nice to everyone, even Ava, even though most of the time it just failed. I laughed a lot during this book! The only problem I had was that personally, I felt that although the book was centered around Josie’s magazine job, after the beginning it seemed to get pushed out of the way a little, the regular intern stuff and what Steph and Ava were doing. I don’t know if you guys feel that way, but that was my only thought. Other than that, this was an AMAZING book, and I enjoyed it so much!
