3.5 stars. Moving account of a fragile mental state. This is the only Ditlevsen I've read and am contemplating if I want to read the memoir. The description of detachment from reality became difficult to read - probably because it is so good - but also made me struggle to finish the book.

He echado en falta un desarrollo más extenso del final del libro, pero por lo demás me ha encantado. Expresa muy bien el concepto de la esquizofrenia y los delirios, y de todo ese proceso que tienen que pasar los pacientes para curarse. Deja reflexiones muy buenas y hace un buen retrato de la mujer en la época en que se escribió. Aunque si que hubo veces que me perdí un poco, sin saber si estaba hablando de las alucinaciones o de la vida real, pero supongo que ese era uno de los objetivos del relato.

Jag älskar att man bara fick hennes bild av det. Hon såg det som hon såg det och det var fascinerande att läsa. Så fruktansvärt välskriven. Lite abrupt slut, men annars var den riktigt bra! Bra uppbyggnad i början, och bra mitten. Jag önskar att utsläppet från mentalsjukhuset hade varit lite långsammare.
