An easily digestible analysis of the iconic women in Greek Myth! Natalie Haynes’ prose once again spirited me away, and I often found myself forgetting that I was reading a work of non-fiction. This was simultaneously very educational and delightful.

oh LOVED! especially Medea’s chapter. This is like sitting down with someone who has a phd in greek lore (she really does) and having them tell you everything with receipts and modern examples included.

A fascinating exploration of the women who are often left in the margins of the stories. I loved that the author explored alternate versions of the myths, including pottery sources.
